The Open Workshop: New Investigations in Collective Form. For the third installment of The City Initiative, which highlights architects, designers, planners, and artists creating provocative work in urban environments, YBCA features The Open Workshop, a Bay Area design research office founded by architect and urban designer Neeraj Bhatia that focuses on the relationship between territory, form, and equity.

Named one of the top 10 10 must-see architecture exhibitions by "The Architect's Newspaper," this show presents experiments from Bay Area design-research studio The Open Workshop focused on empowering diverse voices and considering the role of architecture in creating civic spaces. The studio, according to founder Neeraj Bhatia, focuses on relationships between territory, form and equity.
