Opera at the Ballpark

San Francisco Opera

San Francisco Opera partners with the San Francisco Giants for Opera at the Ballpark, a free live simulcast of Charles Gounod's Romeo and Juliet (Roméo et Juliette).

This is what SF/Arts curator Laura Fraenza has to say about Opera at the Ballpark :

With the Giants playing down in Georgia, thousands of opera and baseball fans unite on the field and in the stands at Oracle Park for a one-night-only free simulcast of Charles Gounod’s production of one of Shakespeare’s best loved classics, Roméo et Juliette. Renowned tenor Bryan Hymel and beloved soprano Nadine Sierra perform in the starring roles, conducted by Maestro Yves Abel.
