This is what SF/Arts curator Sura Wood has to say about Nicole Miller: To the Stars :

Conceptual artist Nicole Miller’s new work incorporates video and sound, while exploring issues of identity, pain and notions of voice and personal potential. Commissioned for SFMOMA’s stunning art deco theater, the film, overlaid with synthesizer-generated laser animation, weaves together interviews, performances and rehearsals featuring local students, choreographer Alonzo King, opera star J’Nai Bridges, the stray violinist and a female NASA astronaut.
