Accidentally Wes Anderson: Adventures in Santa Cruz
About
An exhibition that pays tribute to the world of travel photography, community, and adventure, where architecture, design, and aesthetics converge in stunning symmetry reminiscent of the iconic filmmaker's visual style.
SF/Arts Curator Insight
See the world without traveling very far — thanks to Accidentally Wes Anderson, the brand and social media community spotlighting real-life sites that bring to mind the filmmaker’s distinctive, dreamy aesthetic. (Anderson himself wrote the foreword to both AWA books.) In its second museum exhibition, AWA — which was founded by Wally and Amanda Koval — presents photos of places around the globe, including the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum and nearby Beach Boardwalk.
