Body Worlds Decoded

Tech Museum of Innovation/San Jose

Body Worlds Decoded puts a Silicon Valley twist on the incredible plastinated human bodies that have sparked curiosity and awe around the world through Gunther von Hagens' Institute for Plastination. With the use of augmented reality and other emerging technologies, visitors can examine organs and body systems through immersive 3D models.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock has to say about Body Worlds Decoded :

Body Worlds Decoded promises full body visualization that considers the bones, muscles, nervous and circulatory systems at work beneath the skin’s surface. Featuring 8 full-body plastinates and more than 60 anatomical specimens depicting the most complex systems of the human body. Expect tech in a big way, including 3D models and smart-phone enabled participatory platforms.
