Muzae Sesay: I Love The Moon We Share

Saint Vincent de Paul

Muzae Sesay recently completed this public mural in San Francisco. The project was a collaboration with San Francisco's Museum of the African Diaspora, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul-San Francisco, and pt.2 gallery. The mural is located at 8th and Howard Street in San Francisco. The mission of St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco (SVDP-SF) is to offer hope and service on a direct person-to-person basis, working to break the cycles of homelessness and domestic violence.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock has to say about Muzae Sesay: I Love The Moon We Share :

Muzae Sesay’s recently completed mural at the intersection of 8th and Howard streets was produced in collaboration with the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD), St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco and Oakland’s pt. 2 gallery. The artist will have a solo exhibition at the gallery in June, coinciding with an exhibition of new works by Basil Kincaid.
