"Up"

San Francisco Symphony

Constantine Kitsopoulos conducts these concerts of Disney Pixar's "Up: In Concert Live to Film" with the SF Symphony--the world premiere performances of the film with live orchestra.

This is what SF/Arts curator Sura Wood had to say about "Up" :

Pixar’s “Up”—the story built upon a long marriage brought to a painful halt by the death of a partner and the cranky bereft widower left behind (voiced by Ed Asner— is one of the most touching and loveable films the powerhouse animation company has turned out. Hilarious talking dogs, an overeager Boy Scout, a house lifted into the stratosphere by balloons and a score performed by a live orchestra should make for a special evening.
