The Museum of the American Indian is focused on Native American culture and is the only museum of its kind in the Bay Area. It offers exhibitions of art and craft by contemporary artists, as well as historical exhibitions and research, alongside permanent exhibits. Recent shows include scale models of Depression Era Southwest homes and mixed-media masks by Becky Olvera Schultz.
