San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery

This exhibition is the culmination of a two-year thematic exploration of the role of sanctuary in the current political climate. San Francisco's status as a Sanctuary City, which was established in 1990, has often served as a centerpiece in the national dialogue about what it means to give or take asylum. This show presents work by Asma Kazmi, Yoon Lee, Lisa Solomon, and Pamela Z, among others.
