San Francisco Opera presents Mozart's 1786 comic masterpiece The Marriage of Figaro (Le Nozze di Figaro) in a new production by director Michael Cavanagh. Hungarian conductor Henrik Nánási returns to lead an international ensemble of singers, include Jeanine De Bique, Jennifer Davis, Serena Malfi, Michael Sumuel and Levente Molnár.
This new production of Mozart’s comic masterpiece features four international artists in their SF Opera debuts: soprano Jeanine De Bique as the maid Susanna, baritone Levente Molnár as the lecherous count who aims to seduce her, soprano Jennifer Davis as his wife and mezzo Serena Malfi as the woman-crazed lad Cherubino.
