Death

FACT/SF

Presenting an immersive performance about the experience of losing a loved one. Limited to audiences of 40 individuals each evening, death aims to be "part intimate celebration, part conjuring and part collective mourning for performers and audiences alike."

This is what SF/Arts curator Heather Desaulniers had to say about Death :

This year marks the 10th anniversary of FACT/SF, directed by choreographer/dancer Charles Slender-White. In light of such a significant milestone, the company contemplates weighty issues with the premiere of “death,” a full-length work that employs a shared and personal lens on mortality, using movement and theatrical design to unpack sadness and loss, remembrance and love.
