SF/Arts Curator Insight
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without American Conservatory Theater’s version of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” adapted years ago by Carey Perloff and Paul Walsh from the 1843 book. So this year the ghostly and uplifting classic is re-imagined as a radio play, further adapted by director Peter J. Kuo. Local favorites James Carpenter returns as the craven Scrooge and Sharon Lockwood is once again jolly Mrs. Fezziwig, with other roles played by students from A.C.T.’s Master of Fine Arts program.
