Allison Pugh with Marianne Cooper, Ph.D. - The Last Human Job
About
Vividly illustrating how connective labor enriches the lives of individuals and binds our communities together, The Last Human Job by Allison Pugh, is a compelling argument for us to recognize, value, and protect humane work in an increasingly automated and disconnected world. Joined in-conversation with Marianne Cooper, Ph.D., a sociologist, speaker, writer, and expert advisor.
Book Passage claimed the title of the “Bay Area’s Liveliest Bookstore” years ago as it was hosting more than 800 author events, classes, conferences, children’s events, writers’ organizations, book groups, and other activities each year. The pandemic forced us to slow down some of these activities a bit, but we’ve also now added a whole array of online events & classes.
