About
B.O.B. Fest is a DIY Punk festival, Breaking Borders since 1996. Bouncing between (B)remen, DE, (O)akland, US, and (B)ath, UK. We are Family.
SF/Arts Curator Insight
The first B stands for Bremen (Germany), the second for Bath (UK), and the O? If you guessed Oakland (California), you’re right. This community-minded DIY punk festival that has been ‘breaking borders since 1996’ will land at iconic East Bay Venues like Eli’s and Gilman with five days of programming, ranging from an art fair to back-to-back shows to live punk rock karaoke. With genres like deathrock, anarcho-crust, hardcore, and Tagalog punk (see: Bay Area band AninoKo), the biannual BOB Fest is not to be missed.
