SF/Arts Curator Insight
It’s an exciting time at Dance Theatre of Harlem, and this March, East Bay audiences have a chance to witness the festivities! The acclaimed company returns to Walnut Creek’s Lesher Center for a residency weekend of performance, education and community engagement, the final season led by Artistic Director Virginia Johnson. The past and present converge on stage with historic work juxtaposed with eclectic contemporary choreographic voices like Helen Pickett and Nacho Duato.
