SF/Arts Curator Insight
The Balloon Museum’s international hit has arrived in San Francisco — the first U.S. stop for the interactive contemporary art exhibition. As its name suggests, the profound connection between art and emotions is at the forefront, with large-scale installations and projections, along with performance and inflatable art. In the case of Italian duo Quiet Ensemble’s “A Quiet Storm,” amid darkness and a sound composition, white smoke emerges from soap bubbles for a surreal experience.
