Blending art and soul in one of the country’s most unique neighborhoods, the San Francisco Fillmore Jazz Festival is the largest free Jazz festival on the West Coast, drawing over 50,000 visitors over the Independence Day weekend.
From sunup to sundown, visitors can groove to the sounds of live music from multiple stages, browse the offerings of over 12 blocks of fine art and crafts and enjoy gourmet food and beverages.
Asian to Cajun, paintings to pottery, old favorites and new directions, the San Francisco Fillmore Jazz Festival is rich.

The community has spoken! After an outpouring of support in response to an uncertain future, Fillmore Jazz Festival, the West Coast’s largest free jazz celebration, is back on in 2025 for another fun-filled weekend of live music and arts. For 39 years, the festival has welcomed iconic and up-and-coming jazz musicians and presented local artisans’ wares to more than 100,000 people. This year Grammy Award-winning pianist, Tammy L. Hall, will perform, as well as Kim Nalley and Zepparella.
