SF/Arts Curator Insight
The biggest deal LGBTQ+ film fest in the world is up and running on all cylinders, in-person and online, anchored by the theme, “The Coast is Queer.” Among the highlights: “Loving Highsmith,” which, through a mix of entries from unpublished diaries and tanatalizing gossip gleaned from a legion of former lovers, explores the queer private life of the twisty crime novelist, Patricia Highsmith, author of “The Talented Mr. Ripley,” “Strangers on a Train” and other venal tales irresistible to filmmakers.
