SF/Arts Curator Insight
Here’s your chance to immerse yourself in French culture without leaving town. The cast is fantastique for Yvan Attal’s “Le Brio,” where Daniel Auteuil (“Cache”) plays a professor forced to mentor a student he wronged. In “The Crusade,” a tale of passion and climate change, parents discover their teenage son has been selling off family valuables to finance a secret project to save the planet; and, Adèle Exarchopoulos, so memorable in Ira Sachs’ “Passages,” is a flight attendant mourning her mother in “Rien a Foutre,” a title too crude to translate.
