Illuminations is an innovative walking tour of light art sculptures throughout the downtown Healdsburg business district. Featuring large-scale light installations by some of the top local and Bay Area contemporary artists, interactive sculptures, and custom-built light tunnels and environments, the project strives to safely bring everyone joy, wonder, and inspiration in these challenging times.
The projects include over 15 large-scale sculptures, video projections, and light environments in outdoor areas and in over a dozen commercial spaces. Art installations include Alice Sutro’s building projections of animated drawings of local business owners and employees, a 20-foot hanging kinetic sculpture by Oakland-based Philip Pasqualino, a glass globe sculpture by Sklo,light pieces by Victoria Wagner, a hanging mylar sculpture by Moey Nelson, a kinetic light sculpture by Jessica Martin, installations at Harmon House and a GPS sound tour by Hugh Livingston, a sound drawing by Heike Liss, sculpture by Linus Lancaster, and many more.
