Join us for this brand-new intro series! Monica has been in our ODC & R&M community for more than a decade as a staff member and even longer as a dancer, she is excited to open the Community Engagement program series to host a social dance full of joy, exciting movement combinations, and the fundamental basic steps of Bachata. Stay after class from 8:30-9:30 pm for open practice and wine. More surprises to come... Let's celebrate community and Latin culture! Bailamos Bachata!

Bachata is a Dominican dance. This class will consist of basic patterns: basic steps, turns, hips, and some footwork. We will find a natural way to locate body isolations and flexibility with your body. This class aims to give you the Latin essence as a beginner-level dancer to understand, connect, and let your body follow the Bachata rhythm and SABOR. No partnering is required. And more importantly, have a good time with Bachata.
