Ethel Rohan is an award winning essayist, novelist, and short story writer. Her latest book In the Event of Contact won the Dzanc ("D-zank") Books Short Story Collection Prize. She's published with The New York Times, World Literature Today, The Washington Post, PEN America, Tin House, and elsewhere. From Dublin, Ireland, she's a longtime San Francisco resident.
