In celebration of the September release of Morley’s full-length studio album,“follow the sound,” co- produced with her partner, Chris Bruce (producer of Lizz Wright’s “Shadow” and Meshell Ndegeocello’s sophomore blue note records album, “No More Water: The Gospel of James Baldwin”), Morley is joined by Chris Bruce for this acoustic duet concert.

New York singer, songwriter, and human rights activist Morley’s signature sound blends jazz and soul with folk and global rhythms. Touching down in Oakland to celebrate the release of Follow The Sound, her latest album and collaboration with partner and co-producer Chris Bruce, Morley is joined by Bruce in an acoustic performance at Wyldflowr Arts, an new venue and “plant paradise” founded by two local BIPOC doctorate musicians.
