The Main Gallery in Menlo Park is pleased to present Encyclopedic: Weathered Volumes, new book works by Nanette Wylde.
This series of conceptual images is based on a set of the American Educator Encyclopedia which were painted white and left to decay in the garden for two decades. The books were documented in 2023 to create this conceptual body of work.
The Main Gallery was established in Redwood City’s historic John Offerman House in the year 2000 to enrich the artistic experience of the community. Two decades later, we are delighted to be considered a local institution, and one of the Bay Area’s bright spots for fresh, innovative and exciting art.
