New Legacies: One Act Dances
Three Choreographers, Three Composers, Three Writers Create
New Legacies: One Act Dances is the 29th explosive season of Robert Moses’ KIN, the never-predictable San Francisco institution that continues to push boundaries, create culture, and shape art.
SF/Arts Curator Insight
Robert Moses’ KIN has an exciting new venture in store for San Francisco dance fans with “New Legacies: One Act Dances,” and the number three is abundantly present. Three guest choreographers (Natasha Adorlee, Khala Brannigan and Robert S. Kelly II), three new contemporary works, three musicians and three writers. A dance incubator of sorts, the creation process will find the collaborators working in a specified time, conceiving performance pieces around themes of silencing and censorship.
