Noir City 22
About
There's something for everyone at 2025's festival as we screen double bills featuring the winsome and wicked women of film noir. Eddie Muller, FNF founder and host of TCM's Noir Alley, will be your guide through a 10-day filmic feast featuring the women who made film noir fatale!
SF/Arts Curator Insight
This year’s 10-day, fan favorite noir fest — a rite of passage for any self-respecting aficionado — touts those treacherous seductive women "who made film noir fatale." Count me in. Festival founder and host of TCM’s "Noir Alley," Eddie Muller, is a showman and raconteur par excellence and his intros to the nightly double features of vintage crime movies are a delight. (An updated version of his risque opus, "Dark City Dames," will be out in April.) In addition to cool live music and classics such as “Detour,” "Out of the Past” and “The Narrow Margin,” treasure hunters will be treated to rare finds and dark, newly excavated gems.
