Organ Recital at Grace Cathedral with Margaret Martin Kvamme
About
Grace Cathedral’s 7,466-pipe Aeolian-Skinner instrument, the Charles B. Alexander Memorial Organ (1934), is one of the first and finest American classic-style organs and is among the largest church organs in the West.
The American Record Guide called Margaret Martin Kvamme “intelligent and especially sensitive to the lyrical qualities of the music.” She has directed college, church, and community choruses and has taught college courses at UCSC.
