PhotoAlliance presents: Amanda Marchand and Leah Sobsey, with Ala Ebtekar
About
Amanda Marchand and Leah Sobsey will be presenting their work on This Earthen Door: Emily Dickinson’s Herbarium (2024), a compendium of anthotype photographs (a 19th-century photographic process that uses plant-based pigments to create images), based on the plants which grew in Emily Dickinson's garden.
Ala Ebtekar will present celestial cyanotype scenes, each exposed under the moon and stars in the night sky.
