SF/Arts Curator Insight
A few years ago, A.C.T. presented the first part of Qui Nguyen’s “Vietgone,” a hip-hop trilogy about a Vietnamese family who emigrated to rural Arkansas. Now the city’s foremost company presents the second part, in which the family faces new struggles and challenges. It promises to be a wild, hilarious and spectacularly theatrical carnival ride of a play. Director Jaime Castañeda says it will make you want to laugh and dance.
