A decade-long project about creating and sustaining families, written by Bay Area-trained physician Rebecca N. Thompson, MD, in collaboration with a remarkable group of her patients, friends, and medical colleagues, Held Together weaves a tapestry of intimate true stories, explores the complexities of health and healing across generations, and captures the extraordinary moments hidden within ordinary lives.
Book Passage claimed the title of the “Bay Area’s Liveliest Bookstore” years ago as it was hosting more than 800 author events, classes, conferences, children’s events, writers’ organizations, book groups, and other activities each year. The pandemic forced us to slow down some of these activities a bit, but we’ve also now added a whole array of online events & classes.
