Resound has been exploring the idea that music is a constant sanctuary through the full catastrophe of living. Life is often a messy mix of joy, sorrow, and everything in between, and this program looks at how music provides a place to truly express those human emotions. From the chaotic joy of a busy world to the quiet moments where we find the strength to rise up, these songs remind us that if we can sing, we are free.
Resound is an auditioned, mixed-voice chorus based in San Francisco. We believe that ensemble singing is a visible metaphor of different people coming together to create beauty and harmony. When we perform unique pieces, we create something truly special and beautiful.
