Sara Lisch’s solo show is not about showcasing perfection but honoring the cracks that allow light to shine through, illuminating the complexity of self. Her “Muse” emerges from layered intricacies of her being and connection to other women in their struggle to fully be themselves. Each piece is a step toward wholeness, an exploration of where fragments strive to come together, much like the pieces of a mosaic form a unified and beautiful image.
Founded in 2006, Mercury 20 is a contemporary art gallery established, supported and operated by San Francisco Bay Area artists. Mercury 20 maintains a gallery space in Oakland, CA as well as an online sales platform. Our collective operating structure supports our ability to experiment, develop, exhibit and advance our work and to sustain our arts community.
