Opening night film "Sisters" directed by Mar Novo, follows three Mexican American sisters whose lives are unraveling around them as they reunite - after years of estrangement - to complete their grandmother’s pilgrimage through rural Mexico.
Centerpiece film "No One Asked You" directed by Ruth Leitman, follows comedian and disrupter extraordinaire Lizz Winstead (co-creator of The Daily Show) and her team of activists crisscross the U.S. to support abortion clinic staff and bust stigma.
The Closing Night film "Tokyo Cowboy" directed by Marc Marriott, is the story of brash businessman Hideki, who arrives in Montana having convinced his Tokyo bosses he can turn a profitless US cattle ranch into a premiere-performing asset.
