New premieres and old favorites define Dance Series 2. Artistic Director Amy Seiwert creates a World Premiere, her 13th ballet for the Company. Trey McIntyre returns to Smuin with the Bay Area premiere of his Wild Sweet Love, an ode to the ups and downs of love set to a range of music from Mendelssohn to Queen.

Smuin Ballet kicks off its Bay Area tour of Dance Series 2 in San Francisco this year! Before heading to Walnut Creek, Mountain View and Carmel, the troupe will debut a quartet of diverse ballet repertoire. Joining Trey McIntyre’s “Wild Sweet Love,” Rex Wheeler’s “Sinfonietta” and “The Eternal Idol” by company founder Michael Smuin is a to-be-titled world premiere from current Artistic Director Amy Seiwert.
