The drums will be pounding and hips will be gyrating as the electrifying 26th Tahiti Fete of San Jose returns to the Bay Area on June 30 to July 3, 2023. Considered to be the largest Tahitian dance competition in the U.S., the Tahiti Fête of San Jose is a colorful and electrifying Polynesian dance extravaganza!
Performers travel from all over the USA, Mexico, Japan, Canada and Polynesia to attend and participate and visit the many craft vendors.
Produced by PuaTahiti Productions of Hilo, Hawaii. This company was started 25 years ago to promote and encourage cultural understanding of Polynesia. We have conducted dance and music workshops in California as well as Mexico. The Tahiti Fete of San Jose is considered to be the largest Tahitian dance competition in the U.S. It attracts people from Polynesia, Mexico, Japan, Europe and the USA.
