Electronica pioneers Tangerine Dream, founded by Edgar Froese nearly 60 years ago in Berlin, has included a revolving cast of about two dozen musicians, with Froese remaining in the band until his death in 2015. Releasing over 100 albums and now including classically trained musician Thorsten Quaeschning, violinist Hoshiko Yamane, and composer Paul Frick, the band’s latest studio album, 2022’s Raum, is its most successful release in decades.
