SF/Arts Curator Insight
With book, music and lyrics by the Bay Area’s Min Kahng, this TheatreWorks world premiere follows a Korean-American grandmother (played by Emily Kuroda) facing eviction, and her Gen-X influencer granddaughter (Sophie Oda). According to Kahng, it explores “generation gaps, ageism and finding connection and relevance in the digital age.” Expect plenty of music, suspense and comedy. Jeffrey Lo directs.
