OPENING RECEPTION FRI 4/7 5-8PM
An exhibition of paintings by Adam Ansell whose manic, super-saturated portraits take the viewer into an underworld of effusive goofballs, shifty protagonists, sidekicks with side-eye, and alluring ladies of a certain era. Echoing his work as a community-organizer, his paintings explore the dormant magic found in people and places we often overlook. His film "Eye of the Puppet" will screen also at the opening.
