Yerba Buena Gardens Festival
About
YBG Festival presents classical, world, and jazz music, contemporary and traditional dance, theater, children’s and family programs, and cultural events reflecting the rich cultures and creativity of the region. Artistic excellence, inclusion, diversity and innovation are at the heart of our mission. As the only curated arts park fully dedicated to the long-term presentation of free arts and cultural programs, Yerba Buena Gardens has a unique place in the cultural landscape of San Francisco.
SF/Arts Curator Insight
Offering six months of free arts and cultural performances in its beautiful park, YBG Festival consistently punches above its weight with a diverse array of programming for residents and visitors alike. This summer is no exception, with a diverse slate including music concerts, traditional Hawaiian dance, and the Native American Contemporary Arts Festival. Of note, on June 21 Circus Bella will be performing its “HOOPLA!” extravaganza for the young and young at heart.
